Traditional Therapeutic Massage
Traditional Therapeutic Massage is uniquely distinct from relaxation massage due to its primary focus upon a patientʼs specific physical ailment. Although therapeutic massage incorporates the benefits of stress reduction into its treatments, it is mainly used to repair and restore proper function to the body through the use of specific techniques such as frictions, stretching, kneading, compressions, mobilizations, myofascial techniques and trigger point therapy.
Therapeutic massage is used to resolve hundreds of soft tissue conditions that are commonly seen in patients such as low back and neck pain, migraines, rotator cuff injuries, sprains, muscle tears, nerve compressions, sciatica, I.T. Band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, and many more.
This service is offered by all therapists at Empowerment.
